Hey there, this is a Contest Entry for 's Monstergirl TG Contest.

I've had it in mind for a while but each time Liz delayed the contest I delayed writing it. As a result I think this one cooked for a decent amount of time which led to it being a bit over my usual word count. I try to keep most captions under 1000 words but this one jumped to 1200 resulting in the formatting. I kind of wanted to align the text to the right side for the second half for symmetry purposes but I knew that would make it an ass to read which was the issue I was avoiding by putting the text on both sides...

Anyway as for the idea, I knew I didn't want to just do generic guy becomes monster, so I tried to think of a way to make it more interesting. I tend to enjoy doing spoofs off of videogame systems, applying them to fantasy realms. In this story I opted to make the 'game elements less blatant and unless you're reading this you probably wouldn't even know they're there. The basis for this is early game bosses in MMO style games which in the lore are often set up by your teacher or other tutorial characters.

So in this case the monster begins to wonder why exactly the new heroes never stop coming and begin to feel bad about the whole situation. I tried my best to describe the slime as a simple but motivated monster since I assumed a lot of other entries would go with more standard evil, feral or lustful monsters. I think Rabboss' only desire is to do the Goddess' will even though in this case its decided to take liberties with its mission. Rabboss is definitely in charge of the fused form but the human is still conscious for everything happening and presumably over the adventure will develop more control.

The bit where she annihilates some snails is another meta bit that I tried to disguise. In this case the human is still super low level and is serving as the body. Rabboss is acting more as an enchantment that raises their stats by a stupid amount as well as letting them equip the Rabboss items which are similarly way too strong. But since they're technically still a low level they'll power up to even stupider amounts on their quest, giving Rabborn a legit shot at saving the world thanks to being OP as hell. The tit magic was also a dumb idea I thought up allowing her to dual wield with her hands and still cast magic. I imagine all pleasure is directed to the human's brain so he can handle that while Rabboss deals with the combat.

(Yes I know her name is Melona from Queen's Blade. Please don't tell me in the comments)
