To be honest I had no idea if anyone would understand this caption. Custom Robo for GameCube as well as the DS Custom Robo Arena are two of my favorite games of all time. I would go as far as saying it's my favorite Nintendo series. So while I was collecting pictures I wondered if there was any pictures on danbooru of custom robo. I saw this and knew I needed to write a custom robo caption even if I was the only person who wanted it.(Please make a new custom robo Nintendo. I'll even play a Game Cube Classic or whatever of the old one on WiiU. I don't care, I just need more Custom Robo. I don't even like amiibos and I would buy the custom robo amiibo... Please?)

I'll consider it. I didn't actually beat the game out of boredom. The combat isn't as fun as custom robo to me. I also didn't like that most robo were simply better versions of others instead of having different parts for different things.
there is some potential with characters and setting though so we'll see.

If it's a hankering for custom Robo your looking for may i recommend LBX on 3DS? That's so close to custom robo it might as well be a sequel.

Loved this series, and finished both games. I used to think the chance of it getting a sequel was about the same as a new Halo Wars, Republic Commando or 40k Space Marine coming out. But considering a new Halo Wars DID get announced, there's still some hope.

I never played the GC one, but I did play Arena on a DS Lite and I liked it; the illegal models, and parts, were cool but it felt more satisfying beating a strong opponent with a female frame.
This caption is quite good at illustrating one of my wishes with a Custom Robo ^^.

Yeah the illegal parts are more like a bonus or handicap. You get penalized pretty severely for using them in regards to score and payout though so it equals out. I would switch to a female model as soon as I got one in both games. Although in the end I was proficient with the Pipit model more than anything else.

Being able to annoy even the CPU, with your speed, is always a good point.

There were a couple others released in Japan but Arena is the last we've heard of it besides the assist trophy in Smash.
