Description
This was a request for a teacher's pet getting a karma punishment... Or something along those lines. The teacher's pet is based on an actual kid I knew back in middle school, in fact some of the things he said are copied word for word in the caption. The conversation at the beginning is based on arguments I have had with my teachers multiple times....Ms Michaels is based on my fantasies.

The font is a tad small, but great cap otherwise.

This one in-particular has been getting that complaint a lot. Hopefully the others that come out this month are better.

Little sad on both characters parts. There's nothing wrong with a kid wanting to learn more, ESPECIALLY if the teacher is teaching wrong content because they stopped caring. On the other hand, trying to get somebody suspended from their job is both nasty and seriously damaging. She might not be able to pay the bills for that month.
Guess this month he'll learn the important lesson of: "bite your tongue around the authority figure, and look forward to the day you get a better one."

Wow... Wait to make one of my less dark captions considerably more depressing. I was trying to get across that the kid was rather nasty and egotistical. Looking it over I probably could have driven that point a little harder. I suppose one of the driving characteristics of the kid I based this on that I left out of the caption was that the kid I knew wasn't actually a good student. He talked big and made idle threats to a lot of students and teachers but any investigation would show he wasn't quite as much of a genius as he said.
Thanks for inadvertently helping me improve all the time.
On the bright side this little fight had a much more mundane resolution in the real world.

I'm not trying to make your caption more depressing. The fact that it's implied that the victim will turn back to normal after a month already makes this far more lighthearted than a lot of captions you'd see around. I'm also not criticizing your work. I just very much enjoy analyzing underlying themes, implications, and messages in works, captions or otherwise.
Him being a bit egotistical was implied by the intro, true. But ego, if not exaggerated, is as good a motivation as any to improve oneself. You could say that his ego is so large as to be unbearably whiny, and that is why the teacher shot him down like that. That would be believable. But, alternatively, the intro could have also fit into a story where a hard working, intelligent character is doing the only thing he can against a lazy, stupid and power abusive teacher who then traps the student inside his own mind for daring to act against them.
Again, I just enjoy thinking out loud, the caption is good, and I wouldn't be doing the analyzing if I didn't like it (or absolutely hate it, but then I keep my comments to myself). I'll stop if you ask.
May I hear more about the fight and the mundane resolution? It sounds like an interesting story, and you seem interested in talking about it.

I could tell it wasn't direct criticism. It was more that some of the things you mentioned made me realize that there were a couple things I could have done differently. Besides I rather enjoy having things like that pointed out to me.
I likely would have written something similar to your alternate idea here if it hadn't been a request. It's more in line with my MO. Innocent with good intentions being abused by more powerful figure. Because the request specifically asked that a teacher's pet be transformed though I drifted toward 'he was asking for it' territory.
I encourage all comments regardless of tone or opinion. You always have something interesting to say when you comment so I value your comments.
I'll note you the story.
