Well here is something, which did take me quite a while. I rendered around 5 different images all taking over 3 hours. I finally created something I actually liked. So I am happy the way it came out.Please note I put the solar flare in the center for a reason.

I was going through some old comments people left me on "Training Room," when I saw your icon and had to come look at your work.
I'm not sure if you made that icon or not, but it's awesome.
Anyway, I really like this piece, the materials on the metal cones are excellent.
However, what I am REALLY interested in, is how you made the clouds.
I'm a HUGE fan of ambiant artwork, and love cloudy effects.
That material on that front cone though man, whew...that's awesome.

nice colors, jsut the very top right i dont like ( above the big things ). The particles comming out of it, jummie also a awesome background ( gotta teach me how to get that nebula effect

One of your best works, I agree. This piece is stunning! That flare gives a nice bright spot in the middle of the pic. I adore those murky clouds in the bg. Very skilled work. When I see something like this, I wish I could make 3d stuff...
