Yeah, I think I shot a whole roll, with different F stops and shutter speed and this is the one that came out best.

Location and timing is the key. Find a spot where there is not much traffic with a building or a fence or something that is till. You don't just want to capture the streak of lights...this one was just a lucky shot

most of mine are distance shots. Cars are not a major problem, the main one is that I live so far away from town, just a matter of making the trip into town one night. Living Semi Rural is not all its cracked up to be

I love all the different colors, strangely colored car lights. the lights inside make a nice contrast to the lights in the drive through place.

this could not be a more perfect photo. i love the colours...the exposure is just right. and plus it's a pretty interesting looking building to begin with too. and the streak of light from the passing car, well that's icing on the cake. i really like this picture. so much so, that i think i'll

Ooooo. The same effect with those other images - the slight blurr on lighting. Lovely shot, shesh I wish I had a camera that could do that. You know you could take some industrial shot and sell it as a Stock Photography CD. lol - these shots are worthy. And you'll do more Im sure. I mean the amount of money, stock photographers have....it would intice others (even myself) to start a collection.
But then, on the other hand doing photography is a way of developing skills instead of selling them. But can be used at a later date lol.

The blur on the lights is beacouse of the lenght of the exposure which in this particualar shot took 10 seconds.
You don't see the cars passing by but just the beam of light.
I thought about doing some stock photography but, I am just a newbie @ this. And about making money out of it?...naaaah, this is just a hobby.
You can always buy a 2nd hand camera with a manual settings and do same photography I do, maybe even better.
