Jean is a faerie from the unseelie court. She has bio-luminescent skin that glows. She has horn-like spikes on her head, back of her neck, feet and back.
Jean is a crusher spirit, also called a Mara. She is a faerie that brings nightmares. She scares people in their sleep. In nightmares, she takes on the appearance of a wolf-like being and has the ability to form illusions for her captives.
She can’t stay in there dreams for a long period of time though. Her captives can kick her out if they have the willpower to decipher between real and fake. If she can’t scare her captive she will leave. If her captives any sort of magical powers, they might be able to harm her within the dreams if that is within their own powers, she will then be forced to leave. There are also charms that can protect you from a Mara so they can’t enter your dreams.
If someone knows her real name, they can summon her and make her do there bidding. This works in both the dream-world and physical world.
In the real world, Jean has sharp teeth like a wolf. They help her against any attacks. Unlike some faeries, Jean can’t fly. She’d rather climb trees if she has to get away from something.
She is very weak against cold iron, charms of rowan such has red berries and herbs.
