Description
In the quarry of my mindslit silent slumber left behind
neath teeth and stone no strong release
for unarmed girls in search of peace
Marching rushes blur like wheat
being trodden by unwary feet
churned to flour, ground down fine
her heart and thoughts all kept in line
Battles raging, outside still
Masses moving, bent to kill
Blindly walking, working, pay
we listen to what Others say
Voices inside burning bed
unarmed girl hides in a shed
and waits
alone
for storm to pass
she wishesΒ Β tight on unseen stars...
she dreams of palm trees and of sand...
while gentle lover holds her hand....
on sundrenched fields ...an open door..
enter
for peace.
and love.
she wants.
no more.

even for the deaf to hear
This girl's unseen fear
Holding her wish so dear
How can wind rage inside
With trees moving outside
Swaying on a cyclone song
Lifeless sheet she holds to strong
Left out voices calling out
In her mind, fear to shout
Embraced lifeless, warming sheet
Awaiting storms passing heed
Reaching hands out of this storm
Into rose with thorns to transform
A dream of love from unseen stars
To pass the lone, sadness wars..
