My friend's Dad has a house near the lake and we always go Kayaking when I visit. It's great fun
I have yet to be taken out on a boat, though. It sounds like fun.

Do you live really in-land in Australia? Everyone always thinks of Aussies being beach bums but it is a pretty vast country :S

Not really, really inland but my friends and I are taking a train to the beach on Sunday. It's like.. an hour and a half away by car or something. So, no. We're not really beach bums xP
In fact, we live in a pretty country town so most of the population are bush bums
