I loved this project so much! I am kind of sad its over. But that means its time to move on to my class's Illistration Unit, so I hope it will be fun.
This was made by completely covering a white sheet of paper with charcoal, and then pulling out the highlights with an eraser. This is also a still-life drawing so the two horses and the unicorn are actual objects that I decided to draw. The unicorn I believe is white ceramic, The white horse in the back is a stuffed animal, and the black horse in the front is just a plastic toy horse I happened to have. I really would like to try to do another reverse value project in the future, but I will need larger sheets of paper.
I think this one was 20''x28'' I think, I dont know for sure. But anyway it was fun to make, so let me know what you think, I really would enjoy some feedback and how I could possibly improve this kind of artwork.

And update concerning the comic, I am still working on it. I need some more practice with the illustration makers before I do anything else, and on top of that, I have been working on a project for my uncle using chalk pastels. This project is kind of really important to me because if I do really really good, I could start trying to airbrush stuff and eventually detail his truck so I am super excited! Anyway so ya all later!
