A little something Im doing on the side for fun. Man, I really love both these characters, but more specifically Im a fan of the artists/writers who created and/or defined them.Related content

LOL! Yeah, they both heal pretty fast...at least Lobo isn't doing (last I checked) the "insta-clone from every drop of blood he loses" bit, so it won't be quite like the fight scene in the first Hellboy movie where HB finally successfully kills a lot of Sammael demons (unfortunately. Love both the characters, have just about every comic and prose thing HB's appeared in (though I draw the line at Hellboy Jr.; best bit there was the intro comic strip between the main artist and Mike Mignola [supposedly] "discussing" the project, duking it out in costume ... "That's not REALLY-- [the Right Hand of Doom?]" "100 pounds of U.S. steel, comin' at ya!"

Okay I am not as much of a geek as my step-dad so I have not read the all the comics of Lobo myself, I have read some and he is a very fun character.
Sadly I have not gotten my hands on any of the Hellboy comics, but if the pattern I have noticed holds true then he is very likely a more awesome character in the comics than the movies and he is pretty awesome in the movies.
As for your art, it is very awesome and I think you have captured the essence of both these characters very well and the mood likely to surround such an encounter.

Hellboy is so much more enjoyable (imho) in the comics than in the films. Its well worth picking up one of the hellboy comics for a fun read and especially the artwork is mindblowingly good
