this is because there have been several people making this assumption about my character Fran... >_>i just imagined his respoce to it..... so i decided to draw it...
and he may have similar responces in the comic in further events in the oct if i make it to round two.... <_<
its scribbly... so yeah...

i do think that manlymens have been a bit unfair as regards to your work.
i've no doubt they probably would have eliminated you in qualifying, given more entrants...
your audition and round one entry were both solid and finished, which is better than many other entrants. i do think that everyone needs to get off your back about this character. whilst not the epitamy of buff, muscular manliness, i do think he represents a kind of 70's-80's rock genre kind of manliness. like KISS, or alice cooper, i guess.

i was actualy rather afraid that they would have... i was also kind of surprised that i went on to round two...
and thank you so much! i guess i was kind of asking for it for entering a character like Fran though... but i really felt it would have been much less amusing and fun for me if i wouldnt have entered him. i do hope they calm down a bit. but im still gana keep up till i get eliminated ether way.
and i am glad he is at least some form of manly XD

I... wut? Calm down? I dunno how it looks to everyone else, but we're all chilled as cucumbers when it comes to Fran. I've liked Fran from the outset (as have the judges I've talked about Fran with), and he's a valid entrant just like the rest of them. If the tournament were still a Greennite and Phi only operation, things might be different, but when the rest of us jumped on board some changes were made to how it all goes down.
Yes, it's a manly competition, but the rules regarding to character are meant to be broken, more or less. Entering a non-manly-man into a manly competition? Perfectly valid, and it paves the way for a healthy dose of expectation-subverting-humour. If done well, a character of this type has just as much a chance of winning as the next entrant. And you're doing it well, so there's nothing to worry about.
I apologise if you've gotten the impression that we're either upset by or biased against your character. Truth is, any expression of discontent (and I can only think of one judge who WOULD have any qualms) are purely personal opinion, and have little to no influence on the outcome of a match. None of us really count 'manliness' as a factor for judging a round. Besides, it's the actions of the character that count, not the character's inherent traits.
I've seen hints of discontent from you in the past, so I figured it's high time to reel it in.
