Description This was partly inspired by Larry Correia's statement "I do know one thing. If you set a book a couple hundred years in the future, even if it takes place on another planet, and you gave somebody a Kalashnikov, I wouldn’t bat an eye." There's this science fiction series I plan on writing sometime, about a loose confederation of humans cut off from their homeland and in hostile space near an alien empire. So, because the AK frame has endured so well and they can be made IN CAVES! WITH BOXES OF SCRAPS! (No, really. See here[link] )
I decided that the humans in my story would mostly be armed with AKs, and there's probably almost equal amounts of FALs and M16s. This is one of many AKs in my storyverse.

I actually don't know what a Galil looks like (Unless you count the Vektor CR21 which just looks... weird). But I did use a Dragunov.
