I really like the concept and I would SO turn away if I crossed them in the woods!
If I may, the three figures seem to be appearing in the landscape, which gives an interesting feeling of them being nonhuman. However if they are humans, as the light is coming from up, there should be some shading on the ground around them which would anchor them more into the forest.
