That's right, a Friendship AU version of Rainbow Rocks! But I must warn you, it is DRASTICALLY different from the cannon Rainbow Rocks, you'll see why once you start reading:

(It was Wednesday September 11 and it was the middle of the night, all seemed calm until a giant wormhole opened up in the sky. And from that wormhole came 3 ponies, falling and landing in the lake outside of ponyville. One orange pony, one purple pony, and one turquoise pony. The tree ponies made their way over to the shore and caught their breath)

Orange Pony: Are you girls alright?

Turquoise Pony: Yeah…..

Purple Pony: Could be better considering we just went through time and space.

Orange Pony: Well at least we’re back in Equestria, are our pendants ok?

(They all look down at the jewel pendants around their necks, they were all intact)

Orange Pony: Good, now, we need to find out where exactly we are.

Turquoise Pony: But you just said we’re in Equestria.

Orange Pony: Yes Sonata, but we just went through a wormhole. Even though this is indeed Equestria, we could be in a different time period or a parallel or perpendicular universe.

Turquoise Pony (Sonata): Oh…

Purple Pony: So what do you think we should do?

Orange Pony: Let’s go ask and see.

(The three of them go into Ponyville where they happened to find a stallion coming home from his late night job)

Orange Pony: You there! I have a question!

(The stallion looked around then saw the three mares approaching him)

Stallion: (Apprehensive) What do you want?

Orange Pony: We just want to ask you a question.

Stallion: …..OK?

Orange Pony: What is today’s date?

Stallion: Hold on…

(He reaches into his saddlebag and takes out his phone to check the date)

Sonata: (Pointing to the phone) Whoa! What is that small glowing rectangle?

Stallion: …..My phone?

Purple Pony: …..Phone?

Stallion: Wait, you guys don’t know what a phone is?

(The three mares just stood in silence and the Stallion just shook his head)

Stallion: Well anyway, the date is September 11th.

Orange Pony: …..What year?

Stallion: Umm…..2019?

(The three mares looked astonished)

Stallion: Umm…..can I go now?

Orange Pony: Uhh...yes.

(The stallion went on his way and the orange pony turned to her friends)

Orange Pony: Did you hear that?

Purple Pony: Yes, 2019. That’s over 1,000 years in the future!

Orange Pony: Do you know what this means?

Sonata: That we should get one of those phone things?

Orange Pony: No! It’s that those Pillars of Harmony are most likely dead! That means there is no one to stop us from bringing this land to its knees once again!

Sonata: Oh, right.

Purple Pony: But we need to restore our power first, and we don’t have enough magic to turn into our siren forms.

Orange Pony: Then we’ll just get some the hard way, but first we need to find a place to stay for the night.

(They wandered through the town, looking for some shelter when they saw a huge tree-like castle on the outskirts and another extravagant building right next to it)

Sonata: There looks good.

(They made their way over to the building and onto the hoofball field in the back. They took shelter in one of the dugouts and went to sleep. They were awoken by the sound of a school bell. They went out and looked at the building)

Orange Pony: It seems that this is some kind of school.

Sonata: Maybe we can find some help in there.

(They entered the school. Classes were in session, so there was no one in the halls. The trio walked around the school until they found the main entrance where they found a stand of brochures. The orange pony took one of the brochures and began to read)

Orange Pony: “Harmonic University: The School of Friendship. A place for all creatures alike, where worlds intertwine and friendship is for everyone.”

Purple Pony: A university? For friendship? This is perfect! Since all the students here no doubt have friendship inside of them, we can turn them against each other and steal their magic! Then we’ll have our power back and Equestria will be ours!

Orange Pony: Not so fast Aria. It also says that the founders and teachers here are interdimensional heroes known as “Team Aurora and the Guardians of Harmony” And it also says that they use their powers to banish evil in all worlds.

Purple Pony (Aria): Oh… so they could be an obstacle for us.

Orange Pony (Thinking): Not if we get on their good side. I have a plan, and if it goes smoothly, we’ll be able to make all of the ponies in this land adore us!

(They run out of the school. 2-and-a-half-hours later, the halls were filled with students walking to their next classes. But a large group of students were gathered in the courtyard listening to one student go on about something)

Student: I saw it! I saw it with my own eyes! Its was the craziest thing I’ve seen in this world so far!

(Charmander Alex, Lapis, and Applejack all walked up to the group of students)

Applejack: What is going on here? Y'all should be headed to your classes.

(One student, a Gothorita, answered them)

Gothorita: Oh, Bronze over there was just telling us how she saw a wormhole in the sky last night.

Lapis: I’m sorry, what?

Bronze Pearl: Yeah, I even took a picture.

(She took out her Formica-tech phone and showed them the picture of the wormhole she took from her dorm room window)

Lapis: Whoa, that is a wormhole.

Char: Whoa!

Bronze Pearl: Yeah, that's so weird! Does your world usually get wormholes?

Applejack: What? No! This is the first time I’ve heard of this happening!

Char: We’ll look into it, but for right now, everycreature head to your classes, and for those of you participating in the upcoming musical showcase, please report to the gymnasium.

(The group dispersed and Applejack, Char, and Lapis made their way to the gymnasium)
