The war against The Eggman Empire has been going on for seven whole years. Many soldiers were lost but many were gained. Amy is now the leader of the resistance and Knuckles is the head general. Sonic was tortured six months (like in the original) but hasn’t been taken since. He now leads troops to fights and to gather supplies.

Sonic and Amy are a power couple who has great battle chemistry, so they’re often seen together in the field. They’re two young adults who lost their childhoods to war; and now they’re looking for a way out. To end this once and for all.
