And now, a scene transition! With different lighting! I no longer have to have two different shading layers!Not much happening on this page. It's a transition page.
Here, I'd like to point out a stylistic decision I like to make in my comics work; a personal rule that the gutters of the comic cannot be brighter than the brightest color on the entire page. For the last three pages, that has been a sort of purpley overlay that goes with the dusk. But now, the gutters are white!
Next pages are inked and awaiting coloring! You all have a nice day!

TLDR: Pretty much all of the lineart is already done, and the time spacing you're seeing is the time it's taking me to color, not the time needed for every single step of the process.
- The hardest part (the storyboard/layouts) is already done.
- I finished inking most of the pages in two (long) sittings (one page still left to ink, but its the last one)
- After that it's just coloring, which is my least favorite step tbh and takes me the longest for each page.
It also helps that I'm not worrying about it being perfect, as that's not the goal; the goal is for it to be fun, and practice for my future (longer, and more serious) comic projects.

ah. honestly the fun part i coloring in and the hardest part is the line art. btw is this all digital? or when you say inking you mean actual ink?

The lineart is traditional (example here of what the original inks look like). I then photo the page, digitally modify it so it's black and white, make it transparent, then color. Im planning on making a post about a page "from start to finish" once the comic is done
