Chapter 1: The Wrong Spell

In Ponyville at Carousel Boutique, Rarity was reading a book about spells when one spell catch her eye, Rarity was amazed the spell was how to do powerful magic.

"I think Twilight needs to help me with this" said Rarity to herself.

Rarity leaves her shop and heads for the library for Twilight's help about the spell, Rarity knew Twilight always does spells so she might know about this spell.

Rarity enters the library to be greeted by Twilight and Spike.

"Hello Rarity" said Twilight

"Hello Rarity you look nice today" said Spike

Rarity blushes at Spike reply, she knew he had a crush on her from the first time he met her.

"Thank you Spike" said Rarity

"Are you looking for a book on fashion?" asks Twilight

"Not really" said Rarity "I need your help, Twilight, on a spell"

"What spell?" asks Twilight

"This one" said Rarity; she showed Twilight the book where spell was in.

"I see" said Twilight "and you wanted me to help you with it

"Yes please" said Rarity.

"Then let's get started" said Twilight opening the door.

When Rarity and Twilight went to practices the spell, leaving Spike in clean the library.
"If only I can tell Rarity how much she means to me" said Spike.

"Who?" said a voice.

Spike turns around to see Twilight's pet owl, Owlowiscious.

"Rarity!" said Spike

"Who?" asks Owlowiscious

Spike just rolled his eyes and starts to clean up the library.

Meanwhile, Twilight and Rarity were testing the spell.

"ok Rarity" started Twilight "this can get tricky, but do as best as you can"

Rarity horn starts to glow, Rarity shuts her eyes and grin her teeth, but only sparks came out of her horn.

"Looks like you need a lot of practices" said Twilight

"I guess I have" said Rarity

For weeks during her spare time, Rarity kept on testing the spell, sometimes only sparks came of her horn.

"I need to get this spell right" said Rarity "I need to know if it works"

Twilight told the others about the spell Rarity was doing.

"You're saying that Rarity is testing a spell she never done before" said Rainbow Dash

"Yes" said Twilight "she really wants to do the spell"

"Let's just wish her good luck" said Fluttershy

"I'm with Fluttershy" said Applejack

"Me too" said Pinkie Pie

"But why would Rarity do a spell she never did before" said Spike

"That's a good quote" said Twilight

"Maybe she wanted to try it out" said Fluttershy

"That's a good answer" said Applejack

"Let's give Rarity the respect she needs" said Twilight

"Yeah!" yelled Rainbow Dash

"Let's do it" said Pinkie

The five ponies and Spike went off to find Rarity.

Rarity was running throw Ponyville still trying to do the spell.

"Oh come on, come on" said Rarity

At last a big purple glow came from her horn.

"I did it" said Rarity "I did the spell"

"that's just part one" called a voice

Rarity turns around to see Twilight and her friends.

"There's more to the spell in that" said Twilight "part two is to try and sent a target for it"

"Ok" said Rarity "I'll try and find a target"

"let's just hope the spell does not do too much damaged" said Twilight "I try it before but Princess Celestia stopped me after I did part two of the spell"

"I'm sure part two can't be that dangerous" said Rarity

"let's hope not" said Applejack.

Soon, Rarity was testing the spell on some of her pony mode stands.

"let's hope this works" said Rarity to herself.

Rarity did the spell again and shot a big bright light at the modes the light hit the modes throwing them everywhere"

"Well…. at less that worked" said Rarity

The word soon came around Rarity's friends that the second part worked and she wanted to show them it.

"I can't wait to see it" said Applejack.

"let's hope it's perfect" said Twilight "I'm sure Princess Celestia and Princess Luna will like to see it"

"Hold it Twi" said Applejack "let us see it first, it's Rarity's choice"

"Oh right sorry" said Twilight.

"I bet I will be awesome!" said Rainbow Dash

"It will be nice to see the spell" said Fluttershy

The next day, everypony came to the library to see the spell, Twilight and Spike puts a life-size pony mode in the middle of the room.

"Ok Rarity let's see the spell" said Twilight

Rarity's horn starts to glow, but it glowed too bright.

"That not right" thought Twilight

Then Twilight suddenly realised Rarity was doing the spell to powerful.

"RARITY NO WAIT!" yelled Twilight.

But it was too late, the spell blasted out of Rarity's horn forcing Rarity to fly backs, she hit in to the wall and fell to the floor unconscious.

The spell ahead towards the pony mode splicing it in half, the spell hit the wall and ahead towards Rarity.

"Rarity NO!" yelled Spike as he pushed his way throw the other running up to her and stands in front of her.

The spell hits in to Spike making him fly over the library and land in the floor with a loud THUD.

Rarity came out of her unconsciousness, she looked around to see her friends staring in horror.

"What's wrong?" asks Rarity.

Applejack pointed behind Rarity, Rarity turns her head around to see Spike on the floor with his eyes closed, having scars and bruises around his body.

"Spike-Wikey!" cried Rarity, as she runs up to the dragon, "Spike a-are you ok?".

Spike didn't answer, he just breathed deeply.

"Rarity we need to take him to the hospital" said Twilight, walking up to the white unicorn.

Rarity slowly nods her head.

Soon, the six ponies were waiting outside in the waiting room; Rarity was walk around in circles with a worried look on her face.

"Rarity, you can't blame yourself on this accident" said Fluttershy

"Fluttershy's right" said Twilight "you can't blame yourself, the spell was to powerful"

"Too powerful, too powerful!" cried Rarity "I did the spell, I ceased Spike to be injured!"

Soon, Nurse Redheart came out, Rarity run up to her.

"How is he?! Is he ok?!" she cried.

Applejack pulls Rarity away, when Twilight walks up to Nurse Redheart.

"Sorry about that" said Twilight "she thought she ceased Spike to be injured".

"Well, it's nothing serious" said Nurse Redheart "he just needs to be nursed by to health".

"I will do it!" said Rarity, pushing her way passed Applejack, "I'll take care of him".

"Are you sure about that Rarity?" asks Twilight.

"yes I'm sure" said Rarity.

"Ok, I'll allow you to look after him" said Nurse Redheart.

Rarity goes in to a room to see Spike with his eyes still closed.

Rarity picks him up and puts him on her back and she heads off to Carousel Boutique.
