How to deal with Chain-letters:
As simple as this:
NEVER READ THEM - to start with!
Never answer
Never forward - please do not spread that plague!
Then:
Hide it
It is a good thing to hide the comment containing the Chain-letter,
because first it is very annoying for your visitors,
and secondly naive people will not be tempted to read it!
Finally:
Optionally, you can also report spam and/or block the user who is spamming you;
and last but not the least you can also report it to the dA administrators.

dA is a very permissive site.
So they have always allowed or tolerated a lot of material that would not be allowed by other sites with real rules, with moderators to enforce them.
Further more, even when there were infractions to their already very lax rules,
usually they would not react the appropriate way.
And now, they really do not care at all.
Bullies and pirates are feeling at home in dA;
and this site has become a huge dumpster for spam, porn, and all sort of garbage.

For much of my life I have been internally conflicted about pornography. As for enforcing the rules, in more than eight years on here, I agree. One of the rules they seem to be worst about actually enforcing is the sexualized minor rule. I basically stopped reporting those. I found a vore comic on here and found the exact same comic elsewhere with "underage prey" and some similar tags. I separately reported one page as explicit pornography because of what appeared to be semen. This was in 2017 I think. DeviantArt did nothing. That page especially caught my attention as a possible violation of 18 USC 1466A. The site I found the tags on had a similar rule on sexualized minors that so far as I can tell was never enforced. A lot of websites, DeviantArt included, have a no aging up rule for lewd fan art, but I have not found them to enforce this rule consistently.
