You have quite an eye to catch a sunset like this. And quite an amount of luck.
The whole scene fits with the theme you gave it. The sun looks more like a fireball from a nuclear explosion, and the shine on the waves gives them a hard, oily look - as if they were turning into something else... or were something else. Earth melting into glass and pushed forward by the tidal wave of the explosion, for example.
Uh... overinterpreting again. But this picture just provokes me to do so.
