This is amazing. Definatley the coolest piece of pixel art I've seen in a while- the patterns and colors are all amazing. I love the woman's coy sort of smile and the expressions on the two men's faces- that's one thing you always do very well- all of your people have personality and these fun poses. The hands are very well done as are the men's faces in particular. I love the border you put around it too. All the little details and patterns really make this piece great. The only things I noticed that look a tad off are the woman's eyelids(they're a little concave looking to me) and her left, our right foot seems a bit shapeless to me- I think that perhaps the arch isn't defined enough? her other leg is a tinny bit flat looking to me as well. Other than that this piece looks flawless to me.

You call this a study? This is far better than any pixel art that I could ever do, and If I could, I'd certainly consider it a full blown piece of art.
Seriously. This "study" looks too well done to be one. It's VERY nice.

Study meant to be a patterns applying technique, more for a curiousity if it could be done and still maintain good readability. Thanks for kind words.

Trying out a new technique would deserve the name "study," I suppose. Still, it IS a rather nice piece. I'd say the pattern technique worked well.

Fantastic work. From looking at the WIP -which was very enjoyable- you put in fairly insane amounts of effort. And it was worth it, in my opinion.
