My first still life painting in the history of forever.I'm not really pleased about how it turned out, but meh, I'll do.

It's a nice first work. The fruits are well painted and also the shadows, which is important. Maybe the bottle and the flower wanted more details and lights but overall it's good. I think you're too severe with youself saying you're not satisfied with the result, as I am with my works...

You probably right on all accounts, but then again, I have the selfesteem of an ant: It's not about me, it's about the colony.
As to the tulip and the bottle, it would make sense that they need some work. I was kind of on a time limit when doing this and I only had a couple hours to complete the bottle and tulip, the background, and a lot of the shadowing. I plan to work on it more on a later date.
