can I use these for SFM?

Yep! But it would take converting them for use in SFM, which unfortunately, I have no knowledge of how to do so.

Extracting out of the most games (beside DoA ofcourse xD) is a pain.
Even simple fornite gives me issue after issue..

But try it before you are scared of doing so!

Agreed! I'll have to give it a shot as soon as possible. My biggest issue is how to get the game's primary file off the disk. XD I'm a complete greenhorn when it comes to stuff like that.

MGS is so popular that i am certain there are tutorials for that out there.

But an emulator would probably be easier than to extract from PS3.

In the meantime i can easily extract from Fortnite :3

Good luck shadow! ^.^

Thanks! And gotcha', I'd have to look into that. As for extracting from an Emulator... please tell me it doesn't involve Ninja Ripper. I tried that once with MGSV, and I'm still yet to go through everything that program ripped. @.@

Actually, there's a Crying Wolf in 4, (There's also Raging Raven and Screaming Mantis) which is pretty close. Thank you kindly, but the ones we really should thank are Konami for making such a wonderful model, and Mr. Gameboy for extracting, converting, and probably even rigging it. (Not quite sure if he did the rigging)

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-18 02:19:41 +0000 UTC]

Copy that.
I read that at least Laughing Octopus was actually incapacitated by Snake rather than killed on the wiki, and was nicknamed "Tentacles."
Krauser: You should try to be more like HUNK, BELTWAY. A professional, not an undisciplined amateur.
BELTWAY: You know, that makes me literally want to blow you up.
Wesker: *casually watches while sipping coffee*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-18 02:53:36 +0000 UTC]

I'd say Konami had Solid Snake incapacitate her rather than kill her to possibly give him more of a human side (Since up until then he was a Mercenary that almost had a HUNK mindset) and to possibly make him a more sympathetic character. (Some of the characters you really can't sympathize with, such as Volgin) HUNK: "It may just be a nickname, Vector, but when people find out that you lost an entire squad, save for one trooper, they tend to turn down an offer to work with you, legend or not." *Throws a rock at the ground between Krauser and Beltway* "And cut it out, I expect both of you act like professionals." Sidenote, I do have to agree, Beltway does act more like a trigger happy eighteen year old recruit than a battle hardened professional like his companion Vector, who was able to escape HUNK's neckbreaker and duel with him until a draw.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-18 13:28:28 +0000 UTC]

Yeah regarding it being easier to sympathize with Solid Snake if he actually goes through the effort of incapacitating his PTSD-ridden B-and-B opponents (come to think of it, killing mentally traumatized women, even though they're a bit more dangerous than your average female, to say the least, would look bad). But yeah, Volgin is one guy it's practically impossible to sympathize with, given what I've read of him.
Krauser: I AM being a professional, Hunk. It's not my fault Beltway can take criticism.
Beltway: You little-.
Krauser: -that's probably what women say about your-.
Lupo: ENOUGH! *groans* And my ex-mother-in-law thinks my kids can be bratty at times!
Both: HEY!
Yeah, from what I've seen of Vector he's pretty much a Japanese version of Hulk personality-wise; a masked professional who gets the job done and doesn't even have his name revealed, unlike his squadmates. Also, given Bertha's sadism (apparently enjoying telling her patients how much pain she'll cause them, rather than simply being apathetic about their feelings), I was surprised to read on TV Tropes that she apparently defects along with the player if you choose to side with Leon and Claire.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-19 19:52:58 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, despite having done who knows what years ago when he was a mercenary, players can actually agree with his choice to spare the B&B Unit rather than kill them. (Actually, they can die in-game if players don't work quickly to incapacitate them. But I have to agree, if Konami gave players the choice to willingly kill them rather than offering them a choice, that would have probably slapped a black mark on Konami from the fans) Volgin is just a villain that one in their right mind couldn't sympathize with alongside Liquid Snake. HUNK: *Points toward Krauser and Beltway* "See, Vector? This is one of the other primary reasons I went off the grid. But, they found me anyway."  Vector: "Can't say I can argue with you there." Agreed, Vector and HUNK are pretty much solid professionals, only antagonistic. As for Bertha, it is odd that Capcom and Slant Six Games would have such a character side with the player in defending Leon, Claire and Sherry, considering she's a sadistic psychopath.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-19 21:56:51 +0000 UTC]

Yup to all.
Spectre: If you think those two are bad, Hunk, you've never seen XOF. *shudders* Those Americans would've been right at home as gulag guards.
Indeed. Seriously, Lupo I can buy since she's a mother herself who killed her husband when he abused one of their children (and thus would definitely find executing Claire in front of Sherry harder to do even if she went through with it), but "I-delight-in-telling-my-patients-how-much-pain-they'll-be-in" Bertha? It's one thing to be a professional apathetic about the consequences like Vector and Hunk, but Bertha's definitely worse.
Leon: Ladies and gentlemen, we have located Wesker's den of evil. Any ideas on how to take him out?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-20 00:39:06 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, anyone could sympathize with Lupo, 'cause anyone would do anything they could protect their children from being harmed or killed. Other than that, Lupo falls into the villain category for willing to work for Umbrella and possibly having killed/captured civilians and for killing Spec Ops troops who were sent to the city. One would think Lupo would sympathize with the character chosen by the player for defending Leon and the others, but if I recall, the game is scripted to have her attack you if she's in your party. (Especially since she defended her children, you'd think she would drop her partners for trying to take a guardian like Claire from Sherry) If I recall on the wiki, Bertha took it farther by not just telling them they'd be in pain, but would actually use an unlisted method (Probably a good thing it was never explained if you ask me) of inflicting pain on her subjects while keeping them alive. Psychotic and sadistic are pretty much Bertha's middle name, and not someone I'd want to recruit. HUNK: *Cringes at the thought* "Umbrella never liked to mix with XOF, which was a decision I supported. I'd rather take those two over them any day." Mac: *Points toward his left* "Alligator." Kevin: "Good idea, code word will be Alligator. Wait, what?" Mac: *Points toward a cage with an infected sleeping Alligator* "We could let the Alligator out and chase them around the block a couple of times." (On a side note, it's odd that the T-Virus affects animals differently, especially the Alligator players have to face in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. In REDC, the Alligator appears to fake death to lure Leon and Claire in, meaning it probably retained some of its intelligence, or it's possible the damage they inflicted on the Alligator stunned it, leading Leon and Claire to think it played dead. However, in RE2, it's possible its intelligence was partially ruined by the T-Virus, as it willingly picks up a gas canister that players can use to kill it, or it will retreat if players damage it enough, but come back in Leon or Claire's next playthrough to attack them, only to finally die from taking too many injuries. My guess is the Alligator either wasn't using its head, or the T-Virus can also deplete an animal's intelligence to an extent as well)

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-20 01:37:22 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, if anything Lupo should've been praised for getting rid of her abusive husband and saving the French people a considerable amount of tax money-two problems solved at once, albeit rather darkly. Compared to firing on and killing Spec Ops troops (which probably would get her the death penalty if tried by an American court, or at least a good chance of rotting away in prison for the rest of her life) and others, that may as well be jaywalking on a deserted street. In the middle of a ghost town.
Yeah, even the USS should blanch at recruiting someone like Bertha-if not out of standards, than out of concern that she'd just end up being a liability in the field thanks to her pointless acts of sadism. Hell, I saw one trailer where Lupo yells, "No time for samples, Four Eyes!" at the oh-so-subtly named Japanese-American field scientist of Wolfpack (ironically, Four Eyes actually has just a respirator instead of a full gas mask, leaving her eyes uncovered) when she's extracting a sample from a body while the rest of the team is trying to pursue two cops. Surely she'd get pissed at Bertha for needlessly inflicting suffering, especially if it actually hinders the squad.
Four Eyes: XOF? Who are those guys? Or were, if they don't exist anymore...

Quiet: *smirks* Oh, if only we had DD for this...
Chris: Wait, who's DD?
Yeah, I heard the T-virus causes mental retardation. It could be the same for animals.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-20 02:46:40 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, you'd think being the being the squad leader, Lupo would have a major issue with Bertha, especially if she decided to engage in torture on the battlefield. (One would also think that Lupo would have berated Four Eyes for making the decision to extract a sample of possibly T-Virus infected blood from a corpse during a pursuit) It makes you wonder why Capcom/Slant Six Games decided to give Four Eyes a respirator rather than a full gas mask, but it's possible they may have run out of ideas for gas masks, or decided to give Four Eyes something different.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-20 03:13:27 +0000 UTC]

Particularly since non-interrogation torture (and using torture as an interrogation technique is already controversial enough) is just a waste of time and resources, and in situations like Raccoon City it'd just put everyone at risk, especially since screams could risk attracting zombies.
Yeah, it's possible they wanted to distinguish Four Eyes from the others. Granted, perhaps Umbrella's bioweapons don't risk causing blindness as much as chemical weapons do (I read guys were blinded in World War One by chemical warfare).

Quiet: *knocks on the door*
Beltway: Who is it?
Leon: It's Dominos, sir. We're here with your order.
Beltway: Sweet! *walks to open the door*
Krauser: Wait, did anyone actually order pizza?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-20 20:48:32 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, screams caused by an action like that would attract zombies, and in the case of Operation Raccoon City, the bleeding would attract them in a heartbeat. Agreed, all of the characters have a unique backstory and look, so it's possible they designed Four Eyes differently to make her stand out from the rest of her U.S.S. squad. (Dang, I didn't know that the chemical weapons back then were that damaging. I remember reading about something similar with Porton Down in a book titled: The Zombie Book: The Encyclopedia of the Living Dead, where if I recall, in WWI, something they made put their soldiers in a zombie-like state) Vector: "I ordered some Subway, but not pizza." Mac: "Think this will work?" Kevin: *Preparing to open up cages of Wasps, Crows, and Hornbills, all aimed at the front door* "As long as we stay out of the way, then it should go smoothly."

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-20 22:23:44 +0000 UTC]

Not to mention Bertha or Four Eyes being distracted would leave them unable to fight whenever said zombies showed up.
Granted, couldn't they have come up with a more creative codename than "Four Eyes?" Granted, Carbombya still stands out as a worse name, even if Four Eyes got the short end of the stick when it came to names in ORC.
No wonder why chemical weapons weren't used during WWII, at least in Europe-everyone was horrified by them, especially since surviving veterans would leave an impact on the public's psyche.
BTW, apparently Dee-Ay of Echo Six is supposed to be gay according to one of the developers (just look up Echo Six on TV Tropes, there's a link in Dee-Ay's description). Though if they're trying to be progressive or whatever, how does that explain Party Girl's bare midriff?

Beltway: *pumps shotgun* Well then, Vector...*opens door*
Quiet: *kicks him in the groin before getting out of the way*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-20 23:20:39 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, distractions would be the downfall of anyone, hero, villain, or neutral, in that situation. Yeah, a better name would have sufficed, since really the name was just a joke that has kind of already been made countless times about scientists in most popular culture. (I.E. Most Scientists wear glasses) Ugh, that name from that episode of Transformers really leaves a bad taste in one's mouth, I have to agree with that one thought: How did they get away with this one? Chemical weapons fall into the nightmare category alongside Nuclear weapons, as both are devastating. (And if things like what they used at Porton Down exist, what other kind of chemical weaponry exists? And how bad are said chemical weapons?) I found out about Dee-Ay a while back when looking up screenshots from ORC, which lead me to an article. His character designer said from the start he never hid the fact he was gay, and even his name, Dee-Ay, (Or D.A.) is a play on the words: "Don't ask, don't tell." (Edit, my worn out mouse failed me and made me click submit too soon) As for Party Girl, she may have been meant to be the fan service character, and her exposed midriff was probably meant to make her the wild country girl, since she sports a Southern accent in the game. Kevin: "Did someone order a couple of infected animals and insects?" *Lets the wasps, crows and hornbills loose* Vector: *Looks toward HUNK normally while being mercilessly attacked* "I thought you said they were under lock and key?" HUNK: "They were, but I think Miguel left the keys laying around again... that, or someone's good at lock picking."

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-12 In reply to foreshadow10 [2016-10-21 01:31:49 +0000 UTC]

Yup. Screw it, even looting food from a store (chances are, unlike during a riot, odds are the shopkeepers probably won't be around to file charges or anything) would put you at risk, and at least with swiping bread you get nutrition (energy isn't something to take for granted in a zombie apocalypse).
Yeah, Four Eyes's nickname is like Scar's name from Lion King-fitting, but kind of uncreative at best.
Chemical weapons may be the "least" damaging category of WMDs, but that actually makes them pretty scary. They can't backfire like bioweapons and infect your own populations (not that gas can't be blown around like wind) and they don't leave radioactive fallout or even destroy physical infrastructure, but the fact that they're objectively practical by comparison (especially if you're a dictator like Saddam Hussein and aren't above using them on civilian populations).
Sorry to hear that about your computer mouse.
Well, considering how the initials of his real name spell out "CJ," that's a reasonable explanation for his codename, yeah. Yup regarding Party Girl, even if it wasn't exactly a good idea.
Wesker: *tries to exit the room*
Quiet: Frag out! *throws grenade*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

foreshadow10 In reply to Alpha-12 [2016-10-21 19:21:15 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, even gathering what you need to survive in that situation can put you at risk. And it wouldn't just be zombies, but probably looters and who knows what else who might be walking by. Further agreed on Four Eyes, it may seem like a funny idea at first, but when it's past the development stage, you can't help but think, "What the heck were they thinking? Seriously?" Nuclear weapons used to terrify me when I was young. They still terrify me today, and chemical weapons are just as equally nightmarish in the damage they can do. And the thought that any loony out there like Sadam or even Hitler, can get their hands on stuff like that, doesn't help one sleep any easier at night. As for the computer mouse, no worries, it was given to me by someone I know and I've had it for some time, and even the best of technology isn't guaranteed to last that long sadly. HUNK: "Quick! The front door!" *Opens the door to be greeted by the Alligator* HUNK: "Scratch that!" *Piles up all of the furniture against the door* Specter: "Now what?" HUNK: "The kitchen door!" Specter: "I thought you said the kitchen didn't have a door." HUNK: "When I get my hands on my C-4 stash, there will be!"

Oh, Lordy Lou. XD That comic was kind of funny, but bad at the same time. HUNK: *Opens crate to look for the C4* "Wait, where did it go?" Leon: "I'd say by now they're noticing where the C4 went." Never heard Lordy Lou until now. Well, how else would he have gotten his name? But yeah, it's certainly a dark, if logical, explanation for Scar's name. But goose-stepping hyenas, really, Disney? I bet any German or Israeli audiences would've cringed at that bit.

I have to agree on the part with hyenas, I'd say after it was made, Germans and Israeli viewers were probably shaking their heads and saying the same thing. HUNK: "Screw it! Out the attic window!" Beltway: "Wasn't Four Eyes growing a new Monster Plant there?" Vector: *Now free of the wasps and birds* "Someone let Oscar and Max out." HUNK: *The fact registers* "Fuck! Now what?!"

Yup. The Germans would've hung their heads in shame (seriously, the Swatsika is illegal as hell in Germany nowadays; apparently the ISIS flag is illegal as well) and the Israelis would've found the thing a bit distasteful, probably.

Agreed. Also, you don't want to flash a Swastika in Germany unless you want to find yourself in serious trouble. (You can't really blame Germany for flying off the handle, though. If you ask me, they're probably ashamed after what happened years ago, and don't want it to happen again) HUNK *Raises his hands and doesn't move* "Shit." Vector: "And the "Ivies" are lose." *Points toward a group of Plant 43s that were in the attic with the Monster Plant* Leon: *Looks toward them* "Ah, fuck. I thought I'd never have to see those things or their +YX cousins again." Mac: "So that's what a Plant 43 looks like!"
