Description These are my fox runes. They are individually hand carved with a Dremel then hand painted with gold enamel paint. The stones are Carnelian and black and white Jasper. This project took approximately 3 or 4 hours to complete. The three colors are the base colors of the Red Fox(Vulpes vulpes).

I don't know the first thing about reading runes, but these are awesome. The only real critique I have is that the runes would be much more epic if you used gold leaf instead of enamel paint to fill in the carvings. That way, the engravings would be filled with actual gold... Unless there's real gold in that paint already, in which case, my critique would be entirely redundant.

But still, amazing work.

I didnt even think of gold leaf. I just used gold enamel paint because it would show up on all three colors the best without clashing and it would not dissolve or wash off. However, I have never worked with gold leaf before it would be interesting. Thanks for the critique.

I worked with silver leaf once in college, which is pretty much the same thing. If you set it up right, gold/silver leaf will last an insanely long time.
