This is just a greyscale template of your standard emoticon on a 50x50 canvas. Made for beginners or people who can’t be bothered making their own from scratch XD

Instructions for adding colour

Click on your body layer. Open Hue and Saturation (Ctrl+U or apple+U if using a Mac). Check the colorize box and play around with the first two sliders until you get the colour you want. Hue changes the colour while the less Saturation there is, the more grey the colour becomes.

Once you’ve picked your colour, press “Save”. It’s a good idea to make a new folder. Call it “Colours”. Make sure the format is set on Hue/Sat. Settings (*.AHU) and then name it. Keep the name simple, so if you picked a red tone, name it red. Press Save.

Click on any other layer (excluding the misc. folder). Open Hue and Saturation (Ctrl+U) and press load. Don’t worry about checking the “Colorize” box. A browse window will pop up so pick the colour you made before, the same one set for the body. Then press Load, and OK.
