Description
The Laelaps 2 Fixed the main design flaw of the first tank, being far more reliable and mechanicly simple. The Laelaps 2 was easier to mass produce, maintain and repair. It features a swift ammunition loading system, being able to fire rounds up to every 2 seconds if a sufficient power supply is available for its railgun. The Laelaps 2 requires the Neural input of 1 driver for it to be operational, while its precurser the Laelaps 2 needed no Human crew to operate. This is due to the Anfari's electronic warfare capabilities. This driver sits in a chamber beneath the turret with an exit door at the tanks rear. The tank also has 2 A-IFA Utility Droids that mainly maintains and repairs the tank, both droids are directly linked to the drives neural input. They hang folded in just behind the rear door. Its also got magneticly lockable, unfoldable track protection plating. The A-IFA Electronic warfare package allows the tank to somewhat protect itself from virtual anfari threats.
