Description
"But what and where was I? And who were these people? And how? The answer to the riddle was contained in a clue to its solution. WIGFIELD, said the sign. WIGFIELD'S HOTTEST LADIES.I was intrigued. When was it incorporated? What was its population? And just how hot were these ladies?"
-Russell Hokes
Hokes is the would-be author of the novel Wigfield: The Can Do Town That Just May Not. Or at least he would be, if he wasn't secretly Stephen Colbert, Paul Dinello, and Amy Sedaris. Wigfield is one of the most twisted and hilarious pieces of fiction I've ever stumbled across. The varied and horrible characters are all played by Colbert, Dinello, and Sedaris in the audio book, which sounds more like an audio play than anything else, and the paper book has photos of them as most of those characters. (There is a picture of Stephen Colbert as a female stripper named Raven and I am so not making that up.)
Anyway, Russell Hokes is the one that ties the whole thing together, the 'author', narrator, and essentially central character of the piece.
I imagine him stumbling about at 3 a.m., a Pabst Blue Ribbon in hand, vocalizing his delight in the fact that 'That Nudie Bar's TWENTY-FOUR-HOURS!'
To be finished, inked and colored to the best of my limited abilities when I have the time.

Hey, wouldn't his flip-flops melt? xD
It's good to see Wigfield fanart, and I think you've captured the essence of Russell fairly well.
