thank you kindly! sad to say but my paintings are now hanging in other people's walls. although it is always against my will to let them go.. i have no choice as i need to earn a living so that i can create more painting.

simply stunning! how do you do the drapery so perfectly every time?!!! O.o

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ForlornExistence In reply to ninokhan [2010-06-20 05:21:45 +0000 UTC]

hahaha! thanks! during my teenage years, i have no camera so i always copy draperies from life. so when i started to use photographs as a reference everything becomes relatively easy as the image is already interpreted in a two dimensional surface of the picture.

Send a huge hug to Danilo

Where did you learn to paint? Did you go to art school? Or just some classes here and there? Or are you self taught?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ForlornExistence In reply to Vampiressartist [2010-04-22 17:22:16 +0000 UTC]

Thank you Jo! i started painting using oil since i was 13. my first teacher in painting was my brother who's 7 years older than i. i assume that 49% of what i learned is from my brother, another 49% is self taught and the other 2% ... from my fine arts university.
