Yes, that's the turul by the side of Buda Castle... In fact it's a kind of large falcon, but is does look like a vulture. It's great that you know about that statue.

I love that city, the country actually, my parents used to have a house on the countryside 
but I was there (on top by the castle) last year during Sziget
