Description 1/3/08
mailbox affection
over-filled, love letters'
torrential downpour

2/3/08
it's over
my heart is empty
vacancy

3/3/08
On the way home
we found a yellow feather
”Lots of love, from March.”

4/3/08
fourth day of the month
Who knew these birds could sing
in tune with the wind

5/3/08
deadly sin
clouds in puddles
vanity

6/3/08
embracing
branches intertwine
lovers' thrist

7/3/08
white by black
winter has not passed
yesterday

8/3/08
when you look at me
the stitches holding my heart
come undone

9/3/08
intimidating
blooms burst forth in all colour
passionately

10/3/08
frozen bird
the night is cruel still
vengeful

11/3/08
snowdrops cry
red tears in the sun's
first true rays

12/3/08
contours imprinted
on my tactile memory
fade with time

13/3/08
thirteenth, luck-less day
ripped wrapping, pricked thumb
your present, messed

14/3/08
orange to red
thin yellow-green then blue-gray
ends with midnight black

15/3/08
they broke off chains
for OUR brighter future
sealed it with blood

16/3/08
blindingly bright sky
but the weatherman said "bad"
damn lying forecast

17/3/08
blackbirds spit
curses at me for
whistling back

18/3/08
search phrase:
love poem, modern-day
spring frenzy

19/3/08
forests bud
unviolated
silence

20/3/08
diamonds
roll on tree leaves -
dazzling dew

21/3/08
rising moon
casts vast expanses
in silver

22/3/08
falling sun
sunnyside-up
in the sky

23/3/08
a black stray
closes green eyes getting
sunsoaked

24/3/08
she caught
him staring again
intently

25/3/08
lonely crowds
bloom white flowers
red plum trees

26/3/08
two hearts beat
syncronized to
one ta-dam

27/3/08
blindingly
haloed in sun rays
you arrive

28/3/08
fraying heart
only you can stitch
it anew

29/3/08
pink dyed wings
tow blanket of the
richest black

30/3/08
rain falls hard
drips off roof
down the drain

31/3/08
farewell
is bitterest tears
on tongue

it was a great inspiration, I wanted to include "diamond" in another haiku, but the association line you suggested was much better

I hate it when the forecast tells you the weather and then it's the complete opposite......

thanks

Very nice..... Love the shortness of the poem and yet it moves so well.

Have you been inspired lately?

Remember - forest - then trees - then bird in the nest - then moss - then dew in the moss.... Perhaps that will help you!

thanks, I wanted it to be super short
I found some vacation pictures about Sovata, Transylvania and that made me remember those amazing forests and the silence which was actually very noisy

thing have been hectic, I haven't been to anywhere and that's why I am not inspired, I usually write haiku while travelling
that's a good association line, I think I have an idea... I have to think a bit more

the silence that was actually very noisy - poetry even in your comments.

Keep thinking! I am following along.....

I love the way you use color to create vibrant imagery in the 11th and 14th haiku. The latter actually made me think of a colorful piece of fabric or something before I read your artist comments.

I love colours and I try to use them as much as I can... can be a bit over-crowded

Wonderful stuff, I especially love the March 8th one, I hope you don't change it because as soon as I read it I thought "Oh my god, that's exactly what happens!"

I think the poet you was hiding, but she's finally blossoming now! Haha kinda cheesy reference to spring 8D

hmm... that gives me some ideas for some future haiku...
alright, then I won't change it... but I still think something is missing...

Great start, keep on writing and don't give up.

I'm surprised you say you're not a poet because you definitely think like one. Your words create some beautiful scenes. Keep it up!

I know what you mean about having trouble with a piece. Often I will be working hard on something and it just won't gel. I am doing a piece right now that is beating me up

I like what you have done with it, in spite of your struggles.

Like how the empty heart has a vacancy. Very clear picture.

thank you for the support I'm sure your problem will work out soon, they attack with the solution in the most unexpected times

the one with the vacancy is one of my favourites too (that sounded a bit egoistic... )
