It’s been a while since I last posted here (which was back in 2020, wow). I’m sorry for my lack of posting activity. I recently completed my first year of college, which is draining and busy. My summer break is going on right now and I’m hoping to work more on my drawing skills. However, I can’t make any promises to when I’m post. (And I don’t want to stress myself out.)

I actually got back into Sonic starting back in March, when I started rereading the Archie comics and checking out the IDW comics. I saw the Sonic 2 movie in theaters twice. (And I’m excited for Sonic 3.) So one day, while I’m at an artist meetup at the college I attend, I think to myself, hey, why don’t I draw one of my Sonic OCs. I was thinking of revisiting them anyway.

It’s been a while since I inked a sketch, so that might explain my clumsy inking. It’s also been a while since I drew in Sonic style.

Helena the Spaniel was one of the first Sonic OCs I made. I’m currently reworking her and my other Sonic OCs to fit the Sonic universe more, including her character and backstory. I’ll share it here once I got it mostly done.
