My character for

Name: "Axeman" Morris. Obviously not his real first name, but it's the one he will give you if you ask. He refuses to identify himself as anything else.

Age: Twenty-something? He doesn't care enough to remember.

Looks: 6 feet tall, with the look of someone who doesn't take care of themselves like they should.

Personality: He is insane. No questions about it. He calls his axe "Rebecca" and speaks to it. In his mind, Rebecca is sick with the Virus, and he will do anything to help her.
Morris's whole life revolves around Rebecca. It's the only thing keeping him going. He will destroy anything he sees as a threat to Rebecca, and will gladly lay down his own life for her/it. He pain, injury, starvation, catching the Virus himself, he won't even notice these things if they happen. All he can see is Rebecca, and that he must help her.
If a living person isn't a threat to Rebecca, then he won't usually go out of his way to hurt or get rid of them. He hates zombies, though, seeing them as te cause of Rebecca's troubles.
He will do anything to survive as long as Rebecca lives, because he has to be alive to protect her/it.

Background: Morris went insane sometime during the Apocalypse. Nobody knows how, or why, or when. After staying in one area for a while, he has been the subject of stories, and so people stayed away from the area with the crazy man. The isolation did not help his state of mind.

Traits: The Axeman is crazy, but not in a murdering way. His love for Rebecca drives him forward to the cure under any circumstances. He is good with an axe, able to kill zombies with relative ease. Hurt Rebecca, though, and you will face the full force of his raging, twisted mind.
He is able to differentiate between "Rebecca" and the axe he is currently swinging at people's heads. However, damage to the axe will be seen as hurting Rebecca.
He is also a survivalist and opportunist. Anything he does is just a means to the end of helping Rebecca.
He is able to use strength like no normal person could under dire circumstances. Not that he is super-powerful, he just has absolutely no regard for pain or self.

Weaknesses: His insanity and depression makes it impossible to function without Rebecca. He is completely dependent on the axe. If it were to be destroyed, he would probable fight whatever was responsible until one of the two was destroyed, then, if he lived, just stop functioning altogether.
Also, although he is rather strong. He is obviously not an entirely healthy person. While the Virus has yet to affect him, he hasn't taken care of himself like a sane person would.

Anything Else: He has a bloody bandage wrapped around his arm where a zombie hurt it. The wound under has long since healed, but he has never taken it off. A close look at the bandage would reveal that it was wrapped neatly an carefully, in a way that it is unlikely that someone as crazy as Morris could do...

Items: Axeman Morris rushed out of his safe house as fast as possible to get on his way to the cure. As such, he only has the axe and what was in his pockets at the time.

1. The Axe. It is a very sharp fireman's axe, with a pick-end. It is very clean, except during a battle, as the Axeman cleans it compulsively, trying to keep the axe in perfect shape. The handle is wrapped in duct tape.

2. A roll of duct tape. Always useful.

3. A multitool with a small knife, saw blade, pliers, scissors, can opener, file, flat and phillips head screwdrivers, and one of those weird pointy things that are always in multitools but serve no real purpose that I can think of.

Comments would be great. I need criticism so I can learn to not be terrible at everything.
