Description
This was a wedding cake topper that I did as a gift for my cousin and his wife.It's of their two cats, Conan(Left) and Samus(Right). Their cats are suppose to represent themselves. The scene was also a request from the bride, as it is a scene from when they first started dating.
Plus, a bit of personal inside things for them.
They got married on July 15th in New York City. I showed them the gift at a big dinner they had and they absolutely adored it. I've never been so pleased and nervous to show someone a sculpture gift that I've done for them as with this one.
Though, being caught up with the wedding trip and other things in my life, I have been unable to get a somewhat decent photo until last week, when I was visiting them for a while.
This photo didn't turn out as great as I had hoped, but it will do.

I love that you painted(?) the back of the fireplace, it's a wonderful little detail. As always, I'm in awe of how clean your sculpts are, such nice clean lines and forms. Lovely work!

It's nice to see a picture of the finished version. I think it looks fantastic! You did a great job on it.
And... random question. Is there like... some sort of store I can get a base like that? I have a commission from a friend to do a wedding cake topper, and a base like that would probably help loads.

You should be able to get one of them at a craft store! They're in the woodworking section.
I had to stain the base myself though, so that's something you'll have to take into account.
Ohgod, I had never stained anything before really, it was so time consuming. x'D

If I actually stain the base, I'll likely get my father to help, since he knows how to do stuff like that. ;u;
But, not sure I'm going to be that dedicated to that. Since the sculptures alone will be so dang frustrating. -isn't getting that much for this commission-
