Dark Raccoon has always been my favourite BeastFormer/Battle Beast figure so he had to appear in my gallery sometime

Hey I allways wondered what those things were, I have a handfull of them and I also have this one "Dark Raccoon". He was my favorite and my first one I owned, I found him at a flea market. Unfortantly his right arm was replaced with a white armored one and when I was moving his arms after the purchase it broke off, but I still loved it and I usually have him and the others standing on my computer desk.

Yep - they were intially released in Japan as a TransFormers sub-line (they even appeared in one episode of the TF cartoon over there). If you want more info on these guys I highly recommend the forums at [link] where you'll find a regularly updated picture guide to everything.

Given that Battle Beasts' lives seem to revolve around fighting each other, I imagine there's some other beast looking the other way who's in for a nasty surprise... unless, of course, he has the superior symbol - then the tables will turn!

I had a couple of the little guys. I didn't have that many, I think I came in on the tail end of the franchise. For years I didn't even know they had anything to do with transformers
