Yep - plenty of people have commented on the TransTech resemblance in various movie threads.

Mike-Greenaway [2006-07-06 07:49:43 +0000 UTC]

the way I see it transtech could've repaired the damage beast machines caused. I loved the transformers series and I think the movie will give us that "updated look" since I saw the trailer and all.

the transformers series got kind of "iffy" for me when the whole spark concept got introduced, since I always thought transformers were powered by some form of nuclear fuel core and their minds were perpetually repeating electric codes flowing throughout their circutry, not a glowy light in their chest.

beast machines was terrible for me, since I had used both fan internet sources and the official storyline to piece together my personal understanding of transformers and the show was like hasbro/bandai urinating on a decade worth of TF beliefs before slapping me across the face with their genitalia

transtech would be well received if you did all the art for it and none of the toys were leaked. quite frankly I think the show would rock if mothers stopped smothering their kid and allowed the weapon fire to connect instead of transformers falling over from indirect lazer fire.

sorry that wasn't meant to turn into a rant I should really post more journal entries. Sweet pic, FAV'D pic!
love the giant jet thingies on his back!

Rant away Personally I loved BM - it gave us some of the best figures we've ever had and an interestingly different story too. I've always liked the fact that the TFs were clearly evolving into something far more advanced as opposed to the effective stagnation we've had for the last three series. But hey, if everyone had the same opinion the discussion boards would be a lot less interesting!

Thanks for the fave - glad you like the pic

Very nice, sad that we never got to see it Anyhoo, it was pointed out in G1 that there really was an organic core in Cybertron but everyone just had to go and prounce on it. Sad, sad. Personally, being a big BM fan, I have come to embrace it even more since Cybertron with (Primus help us) Thunderblast. She scares me quite.

I've never had any problem seeing the possibility that the dead world Primus 'possessed' wasn't alive and organic at some point prior to his arrival.

Thanks for the fave

It was a planet, and by all means it could've had life. It had soil as seen in "Dweller in the Deep" and the transorganics that attacked the Transformers didn't come from nowhere.

Today, it seems alot of people Like Beastmachines now since it's aged and grown on them, personally i luved the idea of an organic core and fossils etc because it all made sense....

ANYWAY, very interesting Prime, ive only seen TT Prime once before and that was when Mach drew him, looking cool

Optronyx In reply to TheBoo [2006-06-26 13:43:41 +0000 UTC]

Technically the idea of an organic core was present in the G1 cartoon- BM just pointed it out, and everyone jumped on them.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheBoo In reply to Optronyx [2006-06-26 18:01:28 +0000 UTC]

while i dont recall it on the G1 toon (easy enough when theres so many episodes) i think BM really expanded the idea and embraced it as a centerpeice for thats shows overall plot/development

I expect so - it's my intention to have at least one pic for every series so I can break up my own website into nice sections when I give it an overhaul this summer.
