Ichigo's Sword from Bleach.
Bankai! Bwee! lmao. Yeah I have issues. I think it's called Slicing Moon or something. In anycase.....I was like...a 68 inch sword? MUST HAVE. Then I was like...where the fark should I hang it. As of yet I don't know, thus why it's leaning against my wall as you see here. The sheath isn't something you could actually wear...as the damn thing is too long, but it does prevent me from slicing myself like a total dork. Woot for sense!You can see the size different compared to the little blade next to it XD

Yeah, but with the sheer size of a sword that long, it's less useful than a fully functional sword of shorter length. I really only bought it for it's absurd size lol. That and I'm a Bleach nut.

actualy not true the odachi was actualy used up to the 16th century, better known as the horse and rider killer. And a master of this certain blade was master sasaki kojiro.....

I was attracted to the black blade. I have some odd fetish for colored blades. I also have a short sword with a black blade. No idea what the actual type of sword is called...but it made me drool so I bought it lol. And they might stop me at the gates if I were to attempt entry into a ren-fest with a blade of that caliber. XD

just becuase it is sharp doesnt mean it is battle ready it has to be full tang most swords like that on is usually half tang which isnt good for fighting. and back in the day if you battled with that sword you would have your page carry it on his back when a fight acurred you would pull the blade out of its sheath. please whatever you do; do not swing this blade around when displaying it have the blade facing up so it dont rust.

I don't recall pointing out anywhere that it was battle ready. I got it because I like swords, the blade is black, I like the anime it's based off of, and it's massive. But thanks for pointing that out.
