English/Inglés*sigh* I didn't feel very inspired today, so this is all I made.
Anyway, I think in the past I stated that I was not very fond of Ruto. In fact, I still dislike her for being a stuck-up and spoiled princess, but after seeing Ilia, she was moved to the second place of my least favorite Zelda characters' list. Next to Ilia, Ruto seems "almost-likeable".
OK, so, if you wonder why did I dress her up, let's just say that, among all the fanarts of Ruto I've seen around, the ones I like the most are those in which she's not naked. It might sound odd for some of you, but I'm a strong believer in that a woman's beauty is not measured by how much of her body she exposes. The elegance of the clothes can help a lot too in regards to that. Alright, I won't deny I do like seeing women dressing scantily every now and then, yet I'm not that much of a pervert to only enjoy them that way.

*suspiro* Hoy no me sentí muy inspirado, así que esto es todo lo que hice.
Como sea, creo que en el pasado les dije que Ruto no me caía muy bien que digamos. De hecho, aún sigue sin agradarme por el hecho de ser una princesa caprichosa y mimada, pero luego de ver a Ilia, quedó desplazada al segundo lugar de mi lista de personajes menos favoritos de Zelda. Al lado de Ilia, Ruto es "casi-agradable".
OK, bien, si se preguntan por qué la vestí, solo digamos que, entre los fanarts de Ruto que he visto por ahí, los que más me gustan son aquellos en los que no está desnuda. Quizás suene algo raro, pero yo creo firmemente que la belleza de una mujer no se mide solo por cuanto de su cuerpo expone. La elegancia de las ropas también ayuda bastante. De acuerdo, no negaré que sí me gusta ver mujeres con poca ropa de cuando en cuando, pero tampoco soy tan pervertido como para disfrutarlas de esa manera solamente.

I would say that's because there were no naked main male characters in that game or any subsequent game that I'm aware of; I'm not saying you don't have a point but just why this deviator may have chosen to focus on Ruto here!

I had forgotten about this thread, but reading through it again; I still think that I make a valid point. You could be right regarding what the artist was going for, but then I would rather like to question why she is the ONLY female Zora depicted in the game. And I do think that it would be much weirder to have her wear cloths while the Zora men are naked.
After reading the artist comment again, my theory is that they are trying to communicate what makes women appeal the most to them, Witch does make my comment quite irellevant.

The Smurfette Principle would account for why she's the ONLY female Zora in tha game as well: Video Games have a ways to go before they realize tha proper portrayal of women in video games, alot of tha time you can count tha females that show up in a game on 1 or 2 hands OR they do tha "Smurfette" thing where they have a million men running around ONLY 1 or 2 females as main characters!
They had a chance to rectify this inclusion in Majora's Mask and ended up doing tha same as before except now most(if not all, it's been a while)Zoras wear clothes while the only female Zora never even spoke(AGAIN)if my memory serves me correctly!
I think they should've done a thing(in each game and any future versions)where some Zoras have chosen to absorb human culture customs & traditions marked by their decision to wear clothes where some keep to their own and do not; not saying this leads to a division among tha Zora populace but that wouldn't NOT be interesting to play out if I'm being honest here!

Tienes razón, yo también prefiero los fanarts de Rulo vestida. Tienen más gracia, más dificultat. Y hay atuendos que son bellísimos y a ella le quedan de maravilla, así que soy de tu opinión de que muchas veces la belleza és mayor en un cuerpo con ropa que desnudo. [y la cosa va tanto con hombres como con mujeres ^^]

Jeje, o sea que nada más de pequeña la has visto? Bueno, para que te hagas a la idea, de mayor cuando ella y Link vuelven a encontrarse no es muy diferente, de hecho lo primero que hace al verlo es recordarle su "promesa" y regañarlo por dejarla esperando 7 años, así que no te pierdes de mucho. I cannot forgive her for taking Epona as if she belonged to her, only because she got hurt (and it wasn't Link's fault, for that matter). That made her get on my nerves.
