Long ago (about one year) I wanted to create my own Power Ranger series. I had many ideas, and wanted to draw and write them. But after the SPD season came out, they turned out to be pretty much the same, and I decided to leave them. After I saw all episodes of SPD, I realized, there was an A-Squad, a B-Squad and a D-Squad. But no C-Squad was ever seen, and I decided to fill that space. Here's the first of the drawings I've made for the SPD C-Squad Power Rangers.

OK, this is the first of them, the Red Ranger an thus the leader of the team. His name is Terry Stryker, and although he looks a bit older in this pic, he's 15 years old (making him the youngest Red Ranger ever). He was not originally chosen to become the Red Ranger, his older brother, Rayl, was the chosen one. But in his very first day as a Ranger, he got severely wounded trying to protect some civilians, and the others had to take him to intensive care. With Rayl out of line, the team was left without a leader, and while he was recovering, they needed a replacement. Commander Cruger decided to choose Rayl's brother, Terry, to be the new Red Ranger.

Terry first tried to reject the request, but Cruger said this was the next level for this training. He still did not accept it until Cruger told him it was an order, and reluctantly, he obliged.

Being such a young cadet, Terry naturally is still learning, he makes mistakes and has a long way to go. He also feels very insecure, since a great responsibility has been put on his shoulders. However, despite those facts, he's very responsible and determinated, and he never allows anything nor anyone to stop him from fullfilling his duties as a Ranger. In time he learns he must trust himself in order to make the others trust him, and he grows to become a true leader and a worthy Red Ranger, making his brother proud.
