After she turned eighteen, she signed herself up in an Portuguese titboxing league as Lizzy "Trib" Ribeiro, all of five feet tall and exceptionally top heavy to the point of impacting her balance. She wisely ended her career just a month later after posting a 0-11 record, but her encyclopedic knowledge of the sport was undeniable, just like her passion to be close to the ring.As such, becoming an official was a natural fit for her - and now she has the opportunity to be in the ring for amazing world-class fights she never had a jobber's chance in the world of attending as a fighter. Luiza can be awkward and starstruck in the ring from time to time, but her referee mentors and a growing cohort of fans are always on hand to encourage her.
