Again, I made this on my phone using IbisPaintx. I actually made this before my Lucien artwork, so I am posting this out of order. Anyway, I mostly used the watercolor pencil tool in IbisPaint, and I have found I really love it! I tried to make the piece look like a phoenix rising out of fire. I am not happy with the white outline on the eye and beak, so next time I make something like this, I hope to avoid that. Ultimately I am happy with this piece, however. Also, I used a tool with spike-like effects to make the fire in the background (I cannot remember the name of the brush unfortunately). I would swirl it in a circular manner to make the flame.

This piece is to represent rising above the difficulties of life. When we are defeated, we can rise through the fires and fly above them. The fire does not kill us; it only strengthens us. We will make it through. We will rise again.
