Sorry it'll make sense once the comic comes out. The bubble and marzi characters are born that way as that's a different world. My new comic characters are all made that way. Very simply put those with elements, like Matthew and Ava, are made through magic and are Demitherians, the characters without elements on their sheets are made through science and are hybrids.

No one, but the people who made the hybrids, know they exist so they get the same at the moment. The story is about them trying to get people to believe them so they can go home.

For her originally the story was she just sprained her ankle before she was changed but this has actually given me a better idea.. >:3

Yeah it came too much from magic to just have them be replaced after a sprain. If they were chopped off it would make more sense
I'm just worried about the comic becoming too dark? It will be written like Bubble and Marzi, dark tones and themes underneath most of the time, but with a kind of happy adventure tone, if that makes sense.
