Description
Look who finally got a reference sheet!!I've been working on things for Demon Tail lately and though doing new refs for the main characters would be more important, there's a few details I need to decide on that will affect their designs so I thought I'd work on Matthew, he's never had a ref sheet and I got to work a few other things for the world on it.
If you can't read my writing just let me know and I'll either type it up on the sheet or type it up here

Yeah he was 5 at the time so it's fairly understandable. He refuses to go anywhere near a train station.

To be fair, he didn't choose being a designer, it was put upon him so makes sense he's not seen as one as such

His master already had a tailoring business and realised that there was a gap in the market for properly fitting clothes for those with ears/tails/wings, when Matthew altered his shorts to have a flap so they wouldn't rip. He set up a second business catering for that market, making Matthew the main tailor. Some of the things he makes are just basic shirts etc but he also does more expensive pieces, that follow the latest fashion trends and custom pieces.

Yeah they are considered dangerous animals so lower class than normal humans.
Yeah that was Matthew's mum, she was trying to save him from the life he has and she was desperate for her son back and she can have him back if he's human

Yeah he was born human and lost his legs when he was hit by a train at 5. His mum wanted him to walk again so he got his powers at 7 when he became a Demi Therian

Why do people become Demi Therian? Is there a place/community where they can live in safety? Or are all the Demi Therians forced to be that way?

Sadly not his mother chose it for him.
Depends on the time period, at the time Matthew became one it was for medical reasons as his mother couldn't afford the care to give Matthew a full life with no legs. The laws changed though shortly afterwards and you had to give up any children that were Demitherians (there was already some slave trade going on and people didn't like them but it wasn't mandatory, just if you were unfortunate). They aren't made for medical reasons anymore and are just to keep up with demand.

Matthew has had it pretty hard compared to some sadly but he's made the best out of the situation, he gets a lot of freedom in some senses.
