Description
My current Raspberry Pi rig. It's not much to look at, but it does the job for now. Yes, the Pi is contained in that LEGO case, and yes, that is a portable DVD player being used for the monitor. The keyboard is a Logitech k400. It's got a built-in trackpad, so I was able to kill two birds with one stone and didn't have to buy a separate mouse.

I had by some crazy coincidence been watching and wondering whether to get EXACTLY that keyboard myself for my future Pi. I take this as a sign from some higher power than myself that I HAVE to buy exactly that keyboard. Thank you

Synchronet is a full blown server suite, so that may very well be the worlds smallest server right there. Hahahaha. Take something like that, add a USB Hub and a few terabytes of space via external drives and you could do some reasonable hosting on really low budget (provided you have the internet bandwidth, of course).

Yeah, that would definitely be pretty cool.

Well if you have a descent internet connection, perhaps you should experiment with it. Just "self hosting" at first and perhaps just Apache Web Server with e107 or Joomla or something. You know, just to fuck around and see what you can do with it. You can link a sub domain off of one of my domains to your ip address, if you want. Just make sure you forward the proper ports in your router to the Raspberry Pi
