This was designed for another friend up at school. He is a scorpio and enjoyed my caged series and asked for this ring to be produced.

It is a sterling silver cast Centruroides vittatus (I think that's spelled correctly), anyway they are common in the western US and I have several as pets. When they die however I use them as material for my jewelry, this was an old female scorpion.

Anyway, once again this ring has a price tag of $125 because of the process, it takes quite a bit of time to complete these. If I could get pre-cast insects it would reduce the price somewhat, but like I said before, I like making these from start to finish.

On a side note, he wore this ring before I got a photo of it...and he smashed the heck out of the front. I fixed it for him, but I can still see some minor issues in the area that was smashed up. It may be his ring, but it's my work, so it still kinda bugs me that I can still see a difference from the original, meh. At least I know he enjoys it, hopefully he doesn't go picking fights with walls anymore, heh.
