This is my new whipscorpion...or vinegaroon, Mastigoproctus giganteus. This is still a baby, they get about three inches long without the tail. These are harmless arachnids from the Southern US and South. The can spray acetic acid from their tail if frightened, it's like vinegar, hence vinegaroon. Yay for creepy critters.

ah, my English teacher a few years back had a vinegaroon. that thing was so cool :3 she had all kinds of creepy pets, like hissing cockroaches rats and gunipigs (not so creepy)
First person i met in person who liked rats like me haha

My science teacher in high school had hissing cockroaches, it's what started me in with raising exotic insects. I keep over 30 species now.
