Out of curiosity-- because I'm doing to researching into a company (what seems to be a fairly shady company)-- anyway I'm trying to track down the original artist... Have you ever heard of a company called Teechip? If so, have you ever tried to sell your artwork on it?

As someone else has also stated about Facebook, this is being featured on mugs and other items from a Facebook page called Hogwarts Magicians. I highly doubt that you gave them rights to use this artwork as your name is taken off of it in the 'sample' of their mug! I'm sending you a link to the mug via message.

It seems that this company is running purely on stolen art and it pisses me off!! There have been several lawsuits but teechip wins bc there aren't signatures or watermarks, so unfortunately you may want to start using watermarks, I now do that to all my art because of them.

I don't think that the Facebook page is the one responsible. I didn't know that the mug's (and other items) design was stolen until I saw a comment on the post. I would assume the website itself is responsible instead.

I do too, I just don't think it'll work that way. The site used is called teechip where you upload designs and the site will sell them like cups, shirts, etc depending on how you want it to be. I doubt that whoever stole the design really cares about if Foxlett is credited or not, sadly. D:

It upsets me too, but I guess that's the risk of posting stuff on Deviantart, since it's so easy to steal someone's art from here. It's a good way to get out there, but there are too many assholes I guess. x_x
