It's beautiful. I love the blue tones, they really help to set the mood rather well.

Thanks! In case you're wondering, the original is in pencil (2b,6b,b). I kinda tweaked the draw with photoshop tools though i forgot what tools they were. Ahehe!

I actually was wondering that, actually, I just didn't want to ask. I haven't got a problem with using PS to tweak pencil colors as opposed to using a blue pencil in the first place, but some people think it's cheating so I refrained from taking the chance of sounding like a jerk. Although I see the Advanced Critique Encouraged thingy at the top of the comment box as I'm writing, so I'm a dumbnut after all.

So, advanced critique, eh? You asked for it ^^!

There actually aren't too many problems jumping out at me. The biggest one is her arm, her shoulder seems a little small and her upper arm is quite a bit too long. It looks like you tried to make her shoulders rounding forward a bit, but you didn't have her back curve into it as well. This makes her shoulder look kinda funny and also not far enough forward, so to keep the arm proportions balanced overall, you had to make the upper arm longer than it should be.

The other thing that might need a little work is the one clump of hair at the top of her head, the one with the tunnel shape. It sticks out a bit far. I could see a few strands of hair doing that randomly, but having such a large sheet of it forming such a perfect, flat curve seems a little unnatural.

That's about it, though, good things definitely outweigh the bad. Her expression is amazing, the way you have her smile sort of skewed to one side really makes it believable, like she's thinking of something far away and long ago that is making her chuckle inside, but she can't tell the dog because he wouldn't understand. So she just hugs him tightly because he understands that, and she can communicate her mirth to him that way. Although I'm not sure how effective she is, as the dog looks fairly old and tired and in need of a nap ^^.

Er, not sure why the smiley is up in the corner. I can't seem to edit it out, so ignore it, definitely not the mood I wanted :S.
