A bit of a story to this one...Taken on the obvious date in the title, I took it right before work just to post on Facebook. A friend and I had a falling out two days prior and he wanted some space, so I wanted to show him that I wasn't miserable and that I was happy. In truth it was all just a show. I was quite anxious and upset about the whole thing, but I've made the decision to never post updates stating that I am depressed or upset unless its over something small or I'm just being whiny. I really like this photo, but it also carries a personal meaning for me.
In case you were wondering, I'm no longer friends with that person. He got bored of me and moved on without even talking to me ever again.

Something similar, but time heals everything, whatever the outcome may be ^^. I was the only one trying to make it work. In the end, the way she blew me off, I stopped trying to be her friend. It sucks at first but it sort of opens your eyes in a way. I don't know if its because i feel sorry, or because i understand, or i just see the good in people, but i can't hate her for it. Everyone shares this pain at some point. Did you try talking to him?

I did. He gave me the silent treatment for over a month. There were some romantic feelings but he became bored with me and moved onto a new girl without even telling me. If he had just talked to me I would have gladly been just friends but I won't shit like that from people. I deleted him off of facebook and he's moving out of my town by August so I'll hopefully never have to see him again.
I'm sorry about your situation though. I'm not sure if I've had a friend just give up on a relationship before. Still sounds very painful.

Aww wow that's harsh. I don't really have any advice for you. I'm not sure if it's my place to say this or not, but i think you can find a better guy who would treat you right, there's many out there, and i think you did the right thing. And you don't have to be sorry, I feel free from my past and the memories i had with her. It was probably one of the best things that could happen to me though because I wouldn't be able to let go if she hadn't pushed me far enough. It went on for 4 years, so you probably can imagine how liberated i felt when it was officially over xD.

Wow high school is definitely a time for change. xD I might be soon. Its nerve wracking. Its kind of funny because the past 2 people I liked I told them how I felt. I always expected guys to be the ones to admit feelings, not me.
