Description
UF 5.04; RealDraw PRO 5I had a very, very dull colored version of this but was inspired by aartika-fractal-art 's gradient and by a comment from TSHansen
I'm still working on getting my fractal skills back up to par.
*edit*
- Thank you very much C-91 and StottyK for the Daily Deviation! It was quite a surprise this morning.

I like it a lot! - the color combinations, the texture (the texture!), the theme-and-variation of it all. Nice!

Congratulations on your Daily Deviation!
For those interested I have moved the rainbow gradients used from my Stash to my main gallery (I originally posted this in response to some comments ( comments.deviantart.com/1/5363… ) on a journal entry:
Gradients: Rainbow Gradients for Ultra Fractal
No restrictions on use.
Select All and Copy everything from Rainbow004 to the final curly bracket, then paste it into a plain text editor or UF editor, and save it as rainbows.ugr in your Gradients folder.

UF Sketchbook: Getting Impatient!
For a long time I have been trying to make some colours and textures that mimic watercolours and other types of paint, inspired by some of favourite artists on DA, such as NaismithArt Lucky978 kosharik69 SaigaTokihito and takmaj (see selection of their work below).
Finally I have something I feel quite happy about, so long as the render turns out okay - but for some reason this fractal is taking forever to render and I'm getting very impatient!
I have developed a rainbow gradient pack which I'll upload when I can post the rendered image, but the above is a taster in the mean time

At some point I'll add some additional "gradient-building" info to it, but in the meantime there are no restrictions on use for these gradients.

Thank you very much.
I use a lot "apo" gradients but I really like yours and the way you've explained the control points, etc. There are probably quite a few of us who would love to see some of your other techniques. If you aren't comfortable sharing parameters, perhaps a tutorial?

What sort of things would you want covered in a tutorial? I may be able to find some time over the winter to put something together.

I love so many of your pieces and am curious how you did all of them but I'd love to learn about your geometrics and the tiling you use. Some like these:

I'll see what I can come up with, maybe along the lines of 'getting the most out of colouring formulas' or something. Many of the geometric (or 'tiling') designs are created with a set of private formulas so I can't specifically use those, but I've found that pushing every parameter within a ucl to its limits will often produce the most interesting results, especially regarding textures, so I'll get my thinking cap on
