Here is a perfect example of where math meets art. A simple four word prompt, “topologically twisted hypercubic torus” has required the Imagine AI to come up with some response. The AI is not a mathematician. Somehow, it has to extract and summarize a lot of information from its training data, according to the rules its creators have given it, and then consolidate that information into an image, using some style information contained in a preset. It accomplished that task remarkably well, didn’t it? The result is certainly art, in my eyes, and I hope in yours!
