A thank you to StepBeyond for the instruction, and the encouragement... hope I don't completely disappoint with my odd colour choices and strange arrangement.
The bottom image is closest to the original (although with hightened contrast,) which can be found elsewhere in my gallery with StepBeyond's very helpful comments. Thanks!

i saw the other one first; i didn't realize it was from the other picture. i like this one even better, although the two different effects of blurred and detailed each have their own great qualities. awesome job

every colour hav their own effect..cool warm hot shady..this is not odd but awesome colour effect
